Saturday, January 25th, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Find out why Volo is among the Top 10 Most Notable Wine Lists (Open Table) and Best Wine Bars In Chicago (Thrillist). Warm-up at this fun and tasty event when we will be pairing boutique wines with your favorite junk foods and guilty pleasures in Volo’s cozy urban chic dining room and heated/enclosed #1 Hidden City Patio (chimag).

Ever wonder what wine goes best with your favorite snack? Or possibly what you should drink next time you reach for some Skittles? (try Moscato) or a Moon Pie? (think Brachetto).

This promises to be another dynamic event full of exciting wines, delicious food, and good friends. Sample up to eight boutique wine selections and enjoy seven food pairings including some of Volo Chef/Partner Stephen Dunne’s favorite indulgences and his own versions of classic junk food snacks while you enjoy good friends, great wines, and a sublime menu.

Boudin Blanc in puff pastry, preserved tomato compote

**Please note that the dining room will open at 1:45 pm and the event will start promptly thereafter. Guests are welcome to see the hostess and stay after the event and start a tab for food, wine, and more (ticket holders will receive a 15% discount off of our food menu after the event). Full menu available starting at 5 pm.

About Volo Chef/Partner Stephen Dunne:  Before arriving in Chicago, Stephen worked in celebrated restaurants in New Orleans, Las Vegas, & San Francisco in addition to training at the 3-Star Michelin Restaurant Lucas Carton in Paris. Once in Chicago, he took over Chef de Cuisine positions at Spago Chicago, and then the recently opened MK. Stephen and Volo Managing Partner Jon Young joined forces in 2005 to open Volo in Chicago’s Roscoe Village neighborhood.
