Trent will be on hand to speak about the winery and guide you through a curated tasting of 7 wines from their Inara, Layla, and Elena Collections as you snack on our house charcuterie along with domestic and imported cheese and garni.

About The Winery

Helen and Joey Estate is located in the prestigious Yarra Valley, just 45km east of Melbourne. This cool climate wine growing region has a tradition of producing Premium Cabernet Sauvignon (and Bordeaux blends), Premium Shiraz, Premium Pinot Noir and Premium Chardonnay.

The cool continental climate, paired with substantial average rainfall provide excellent grape growing conditions. Our estate is located in the sub-region of Gruyere which is home to many internationally recognised and iconic producers of Australian Wines, who all share the same soil type and aspect of our Estate.

The Wines
The Elena Collection
These wines are the most special parcels from our estate on Spring Lane. The 2013 wines are a barrel selection from the best barrels from the vintage. In the future, this wine will be a barrel selection and more importantly, a plot vineyard selection. This range is a testament to the full potential of our vineyard. Alena pays tribute to our passionate and dedicated owner; it is a mystical Russian word for Helen.
The Layla Collection
A range of exceptional wine for an excellent price. This range of wine must punch above its weight to deliver value and quality to our drinkers. The name Layla was chosen because it’s meaning “the ecstasy of wine” derived from Arabic.
The Inara Collection
Means happy and cheerful. The wines that we are creating in this level are just that; great everyday drinking wines that are approachable and drinkable straight out of the bottle every time, on every occasion.
A Special Note: These wines are very limited in this country, and guests will be some of the first to savor these amazing selections. Wines from all three collections will be available for purchase and order with special pricing!
This promises to be another dynamic event full of exciting wines, delicious food, and good friends. Sample up to seven single estate wine selections and savor meats, cheeses, and assorted garni while you enjoy our cozy indoor bar/dining room and enclosed/heated year-round cabana patio.
